9th DUBAI Juniors Chess Championship
4th To 12th July 2010

The Dubai Chess & Culture Club has the pleasure to invite players of your federation to participate in 9th DUBAI Juniors CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP which is going to be held in DUBAI United Arab Emirates 4th To 12th July 2010

PARTICIPATION:
Participation in 9th DUBAI Juniors CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP only for invited players under 14 years (open for Boys and Girls) date of birth 1996 and below.

1) The Club will provide only invited players + only one companying person by Visa and accommodation.
2) Other players may be accepted, but at their own expenses for accommodation during the period of championship in and they will provide with VISA.
3) All the travel expenses must be paid by the participants or their Federation
4) Each additional or accompanying person must pay to the organizing committee the amount of 100US$ at the moment of the registration (before July 4th, 2010). This payment is compulsory and represents a confirmation of participation.

5) TOURNAMENT VENUE:
9th DUBAI Juniors CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP will be held in DUBAI from 4th To 12th July 2010 in DUBAI CHESS & CULTURE CLUB.

6) PLAYING CONDITIONS:
9th DUBAI Juniors CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP will be played in 9 rounds according to the Swiss System. 1 hour 30 minutes for the whole game with an incremental time of 30 seconds per move from move 1.

7) DAILY PROGRAMME:
The Chief Arbiter before the beginning of the tournament according to tournament schedule will announce the daily program for the 9th DUBAI Juniors CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP.

8) ARBITRATION & COMMITTEE OF APPEAL:
The chief arbiter and the organizing committee will nominate the arbitration team and the Appeal Committee will be selected according to the provisions of FIDE regulation.

9) PRIZES:
The Organizing Committee will grant the prizes total of which is U.S. $ 10,000 as follows:

Special prizes for:
- Best result UAE (Boy 200 US$ - Girl 200 US$)
- Best result Dubai chess Club (Boy 200 US$ - Girl 200 US$)
Total U.S. $1000
- If two or more players share the same place, the money will be equally shared. The awarding of the Cup will be decided in case of sharing the first place by the tie breaks.

10) HOTEL ACCOMMODATION:
The personally invited players will be provide with free accommodation in double rooms 3 star hotel (ONLY from 4th July 2010 12.00 pm to 12th of July 2010 12.00 noon) and they have to pay the extra nights' accommodation expenses before or after these period , and have to share the room with another player.

11) The Dubai Chess & Culture Club will arrange entry visa and hotel booking for the other participants however they have to pay the accommodation expenses during the period of championship in Dubai - United Arab Emirates.

12) The accommodation charges must be paid in advance.
- The payment will be done only in UAE Dirham's (AED) 1US$ = 3.67 AED.

13) Hotel Vendom rate :
Accommodation rate: Although the deadline for booking hotel is 10th June 2010.
- Triple room 450 AED/ day per 3 person (FB) = US$123
- Double room 350 AED/ day per 2 persons (FB) = US$95
- Single room 250 AED/ day per 1 person (FB) = US$68
- Early bookings will be given priority with bookings in the Vendom Hotel.
- The longest distance from the hotels to the TOURNAMENT VENUE is 15 KM.

14) HOW TO REACH DUBAI:
The Dubai International Airport is the main port entry to DUBAI and is centrally located with daily connection flights to and from major airports. Reception committee shall meet participants at the airport to facilitate their entry formalities and escort them to their hotel.

15) VISAS:
Entry Visas to U.A.E will be issued at the airport to (all invited participants and all players who send a registration form and passport copy) for the Dubai Chess & Culture Club.

16) Entry fees:
- Entry fee for the FIDE rated players = US$50.
- Entry fee for unrated players = US$65.
