Dubai National School – Chess Academy

We are inviting parents to enroll their children in the Dubai National School Chess Academy and enjoy the wide-ranging benefits of chess as a tool for education and skill development. Under the guidance of a team of internationally certified instructors, students will learn the fundamentals of chess strategy, tactics and other key concepts in a fun and highly engaging way.

Course Structure

• After-school sessions every Monday and Wednesday from 3-4 pm
• A total of 40 hours of chess training
• Course ends in May 2017
• No classes on public and school holidays
• Students will get a workbook, certificate of participation and giveaways
• Top students will receive awards at the end of the course

Grades

• Students from grades 1-3 only (mixed class for both boys and girls)

Tournaments

• The club will organise a chess tournament for the participants at the end of the course
• The club will help the participants prepare for various scholastics and national tournaments

Fee:

• AED 1000/student for the entire course
• To be paid prior the start of the course at the school’s administration
